How We Test Before We Rank

We test the way you would, not the way a press kit would like. Each reviewer opens the site cold — no account where one isn't required — and spends real sessions matching with strangers at different times of day. Match speed, video quality, and how quickly a bad match can be reported all get noted.

Then we score against five weighted criteria: safety and moderation, active user base, feature quality, overall experience, and value for money. Rank isn't everything — fit matters more. If you want playful filters and a huge crowd, start at the top. If anonymity or a specific matching style matters more to you, a site a few rows down may suit you better than our #1. The badge on each card tells you what that site is genuinely best at.

The gap between adjacent scores is small. Anything rated 4.0 or above gave us good sessions in testing; below that, expect thinner crowds or rougher moderation. When two sites tie, the safer one ranks higher — that tiebreak is deliberate.
