How this site earns money

When you click a "Visit" button or an outbound link in one of our reviews, you may be sent to a platform we own or operate, or to a partner site we have a referral agreement with. If you sign up or spend money there, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra; the price you see is the same whether you arrive through us or not.

What this does not influence

Our rankings and scores come from the same hands-on scorecard for every site. No platform can pay for a higher rating, a better position on a list, or the removal of criticism from a review. Where a site performs badly, the review says so, regardless of any commercial relationship.

The full testing routine and what goes into our scores are published for anyone to check, including how often published reviews are re-tested.

Why we tell you this

Review sites only work if readers can trust the reviews. Disclosure rules (including the FTC's endorsement guides in the United States) require sites like ours to state these relationships clearly, and we would want to know them as readers anyway. Consider this page the standing disclosure for every review, guide, and blog post on topchatsites.net.
